Approaching the tower, I had taken the obligatory tourist image. I paid my ticketing fee and climbed the stairs. Now I had the chance to look for an image beyond the norm. Going up, I had a moment to capture what could have been a version of my younger self going down. I hoped he understood the privilege he had of visiting one of the most widely recognized and famed places in the world, that many might never enjoy. I had finally made it here, and hoped his memory of the visit would last as well.
