Deep Freeze

The week started with plunging mercury and icy streets. The wet snow that arrived on Sunday turned to an icy crust Monday morning. I stepped out the door at 5:00, greeted with a 11F/-11C ambient temperature for my half hour commute. Unusually cold for mid December.

Of course this isn’t really cold compared to other places, like the northern states, Midwest or Canada. Either way, it’s time to embrace the cold. Ok, Old Man Winter, let the games begin!
