The storm arrived in the late morning hours of Sunday. A travel ban was instituted at noon, and the wise took heed. Then again, there’s always a few that don’t.
It will snow through the night. Having cleared the steps and walkways once already, it ‘s a relief to know it ‘s a light and fluffy snow mainly composed of ice, due to the temperature being 10F/-12C.
Tomorrow should bring better weather and a great deal of snow removal. It will be a brief respite, with temperatures plunging to the single digits and teens during the rest of the week.
Tomorrow could be one of the few winter days in recent memory that could allow the use of snowshoes in southern New England!
