Along Neumühlequai

My companions grimaced at the sight of the snow showers outside the window. We thought we had escaped the snow when we left home.

Our guide in Switzerland told us the weather was “in transition.” I smiled and thought of our guide on another trip several years back in Ireland, and a post of favorite weather only last week.

When we began our walk towards the Museum on the opposite bank of the Limmat River, the storm had passed. Though the air was crisp, a brisk pace would be an excellent change. I had seen enough travel by escalator, van, and aircraft.
