Over The River

“Over river, and through the woods.” Rather than head to Grandfather’s house as Lydia Maria Child’s tune would suggest, I parked in the gravel turnout. Crossing the plank bridge, I set out along the North Twin trail, to hike it’s namesake on the other side.

It’s breezy today and I am out of the mountains. I will still put on a pair of walking shoes and get outside. Let’s go.
