The sun was high in the sky as I walked along the road back towards Route 100. I stuck out my thumb trying to hitch a ride towards home, but I was having no luck.

Drinking a cup of coffee, waiting for the sun to rise. I came out of the mountains hiking with my hiking brother John last night. Sore legs today. Sunday is a rest day before getting back on life’s road tomorrow. Trail tales coming next week.
